Wednesday Book Blog: Map Of Bones

Map of Bones
James Rollins

I am not quite sure how I came across this book, but I saw it somewhere and put it on my B&N wish list. Last week I was ordering books and decided to get it and I was not disappointed.

This is book 2 of the Sigma Series (yes I have now ordered book 1 and 3) and it is a fast paced mystery based on historical facts and information. It is very much a DiVinci Code-esque book so for those of you that are fans I recommend this book. It had great action, great history and mystery and very interesting facts, twists and turns. I really could not put it down. I was taking a red eye home from the west coast last week and I was reading the book instead of sleeping! I could not put it down.

With the Angels and Demons movie coming out next month I am sure all the hype is going to start again and this book is a great way to stay in that genre. I will let you know if the other books are just as good.

Happy Reading!

Back Again

So I have been very remiss and have not been writing blogs at all! Not even my Wednesday book blogs. Shame on me! But now I am back and going to try to get back into blogging. Where have I been you ask? Hmm I am not quite sure I even know, things have been so busy and in a very good way.

My Time For Me had our first A Day For Me on April 5th and it was a great day. We had so much fun and got to try out all kinds of fun new things. It really was a dream come true as we have been wanting to have a "big event" ever since we started MTFM. Check out some great pictures from ADFM and see all the fun. We plan to do another one this fall so be on the look out for that information.

Oh and for the first time ever in my life I walked the Brooklyn Bridge this weekend. That was great, it is beautiful and you can see so much and well let's be honest. The people watching is top notch. I look forward to doing it again soon, I think I am hooked now. Anyone up for a stroll?
